BRP issues voluntary recall on Sea Doo Spark

BRP has sent notice of a voluntary safety recall to Sea-Doo Spark owners. The recall is due to steering columns and handlebars that may have been incorrectly manufactured by a BRP supplier.

The safety recall is for some MY2014 Sea-Doo Watercraft models. The steering column/handlebar may have been incorrectly manufactured and it may break under rough riding conditions. This could cause the operator to lose his balance and result in serious injuries or even death.

If you have an MY2014 Sea-Doo Spark, call an authorized BRP Sea-Doo Watercraft dealer and make an appointment to have it repaired at no charge.

If you have questions, need assistance, or to find the nearest authorized BRP Sea-Doo dealer, visit or call 888-272-9222 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern time Monday through Friday.
