Good times begin on the new Formula 350 crossover bowrider

Formula Boats will soon unveil a new model for 2013 that is sure to please smart day boaters who want adventures beyond the traditional boating lifestyle. At 35 feet in length with a 10’9” beam, the new Formula 350 CBR is a one-of-a-kind crossover bowrider, stylish, on a platform by Formula designer John Adams. The CBR extends the fun of Formula’s popular 350 Sun Sport into the bow area, without sacrificing the flush cockpit or standup headroom cabin that has it all.

The helm features doublewide twin command seating at the redesigned dash with new panels and a layout that maximizes space, comfort and style. Livorsi gauges are embedded in the liquid black dash with metallic accents. A dash-mounted stereo remote control delivers music through eight speakers in the cockpit and two in the cabin. The steering wheel features new-for-2013 styling accented by an upholstered dash eyebrow, while a lockable glove box with individual compartments safeguards your valuables.

Storage  for all your boating gear is at every turn –  under seats, in lockers and in the floor. The molded cockpit wetbar features an integrated sink, Corian countertop, 17.5-quart cooler, trash container and an optional fridge.

A roomy portside lounge along with the U-shaped lounge aft expands the spacious seating, while the dual-height tables and filler cushions adapt to fit various activities. The bow is a seamless transition from the cockpit with a flush floor all the way to the bow. Seating is plentiful, yet convertible to a sun lounge with a double-wide seat to starboard, two dual height tables and wrap-around seating with filler cushions. An Igloo cooler in the bow keeps drinks and snacks chilled.

The rear-facing convertible aft sun lounge also adds to the sunning space and overlooks the extended swim platform. A starboard side trunk and storage under the aft lounge store boating necessities for a full day on the water. Blue and white LED lighting is standard on the swim platform and in the cockpit.

Entering the cabin through the center door at the helm, three steps lead down to reveal woodgrain-finish flooring and a full 5’10” of headroom. The doublewide lounge, cedar-lined hanging locker and AM/FM/CD stereo changer are to starboard. The cabin features a mini galley with a microwave, concealed sink and a pull-out stainless steel refrigerator. Galley drawers, storage cupboard and an optional HDTV/DVD combination are to port. The head features a molded vanity with Corian countertop, sink, shower and Vacuflush head unit, plus plenty of storage. Formula’s layout provides a full-size double berth, perfect for overnight trips, with room to stretch out.

The deep-V hull gives a smooth, stable ride and is complemented by powerful twin Mercury or Volvo engine packages, delivering the swift, smooth performance. This smartly balanced combination of bow and cabin space in the amenity-packed Formula 350 CBR takes you anywhere you want to go with speed, style and comfort.
